My co-creator Michael was a bit bent out of shape recently.

The nice thing about the indie comics game is that anyone can do it, but the somewhat unfortunate thing about the indie comics game is that anyone can do it. And the thing that was enbendening Michael was the boobie comic cover visible in that Procreate screenshot above. It’s… not great.

But Michael, who does not create comics with boobies on the cover, angrily feels that boobie covers are a quick shortcut past the hurdles of quality (and basic anatomy) to get dudes to pick up the book.

For funsies I sketched out what a more reasonable version of that pose should look like. Then I turned it into Delilah (one of the, I think three* light-haired female gargoyles in the canon? It’s weird that there’s only three) and turned her into another Copperstone ad and made versions and just basically amused myself.
